    Default SPYDERCO?

Does anyone know the rateing of a Spyderco fine white ceramic?
I used one to hone a razor and it passed the HHT.
My wife got me the Norton 4000-8000 stone for Christmas and I was wondering if I should finnish on the spyderco after honeing on the norton 8000.
    Or is the 8000 finer.

I have a Spyderco fine that I sometimes use, when I don't want to get any hones wet.

IMO it's very close to 8k, and I have used it at the "8k stage" of honing with good results.

The Spyderco hones come in Medium, Fine and Ultrafine.

They are ceramic so they cannot be rated by the size of an abrasive grain like most hones are.
The Ultrafine is roughly comparable to an 8000 grit in its effect on the edge. Some people rate them higher. Since you have both then try it both ways and see which shaves you best.

    Hope this helps,
