Sorry guys, but I have never seen or heard of a Brown Escher before. The information on the Classic site says it came from a Barbers manual. I've looked back over all my stuff and can't find anything on this.

Now I gotta put 150 hones away........

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

This stone is a lot faster cutter then any other escher and it will put finest edge i mean very -very fine edge.
OK guys any one can explain what is this stone?you can see clear in english name of it and france stamp .on side again it says very fine?
May be some of you knows or had it etc?
As for as i know escher's were the finest hones but this stone is a lot better stone then any escher i have used.
if that information comes from barber hone book then at that time someone knew about brown ??? stone?

I can sharp any of your 1 razor with this stone and send back to you you can check the edge and compare to escher's .of course without stropping etc.just use stone that is it.
i don't know may be this will help/

I got it!!! It's a "Chronik" hone, undoubtedly the very best hone ever made...........

Just teasin' Sam. If the hone works the best for you, it is the BEST and no questions asked other than if you run across another, I want one too!!!

    All the best,

    Lynn

Wait til April. I'm coming into St. Louis to do a shaving and honing demonstration for the Mug Collecting Society.
