    Question NAKAYAMA

Well boys, I kicked it up a notch and bought a Nakayama stone. I now have a better understanding of the term "feedback" and I am getting a more comfortable shave because of the more refined edge achieved from this stone. I think it's time to get a microscope with a USB to view the edge on my computer screen. Does anyone wish to recommend such a microscope. Please don't get too technical. I'm in my mid 60's would like to keep it as simple as possible. Thanks..... JERRY S

Welcome to the Japanese stone club! You should post pics of your hone too, when you get the chance.

It seems like there are a lot of different scopes that guys are using here on the forums, and most of the pics they post look good. As long as the lighting is appropriate, you can probably get good images any way.

Here is a recent thread on the topic that might help. If money is no object than maybe the Pro Scope would be your huckleberry.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
