    Default Norton fell apart?

I bought a norton 4000/8000 stone and after soaking for about 10 minutes, the two sides separated. Are there any good ways to reattach this, or should I just use them apart?

If you separate them you are going to get less use out of them unless you mount them on something to stabilize the stone... As they get thinner (and they will) it will need something to keep the stone from cracking.... Myself I would return it.... It would be easier to use in a pyramid system this way but they need to be mounted on something...

I agree with Glen return it if possible. Even if you mount the two you still have to soak the 4k and that would be a hassle depending on what you mount it on. I guess you could use glass but wood would make soaking a PITA. You don't have to soak the 8k BTW.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

i agree with above said. Now if you don't have option to return it then use waterproof glue and glue them together. i think it was defective . my norton in the water always never i took it out.
