I travel frequently and always take along one of the one of the three following hones: The first one is a FA Clauberg Tonsorial Gem double sided hone. The blue side seems about 4000 grit and the brown side is maybe somewhere between 8-10000. It leaves a very sharp edge. The second hone is a small double sided Belgian/Coticule combination, which needs no further discussion, except that is leaves the smoothest edge. The third is a Swaty, which also needs no discussion but produces a very sharp edge. They each work very well. Thanks to all the posters!
