Thanked: 3795Sorry...
Literary reference to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...
The answer to the question was 42. The planet Earth was created, by super-intelligent mice, to be a supercomputer to be used to calculate the question to that answer but unfortunately the Earth was destroyed prior to the completion of the calculations.

[QUOTE=Utopian;414978] Now, I have a bit of an aversion to the Glass Stones because they are so thin. On the other hand, I believe they are considered by many to be great hones and I have read many praising comments about them.QUOTE]
I have lapped my GS series hones before every honing session for well over a year and still can't tell I have made them any thinner. The first lapping with pencil marks took about 5 minutes and the before honing lap is just a few swirls under running water.

Thanks ......... I don't get out much.....
I'll second the notion that the glass laps fast and basically stays flat.
