Last weekend someone sold a couple of hones very cheap,
so now I'm the proud proprietor of a super sized Tojiro 4000.

It is a kitchen knife hone.
Olive color, quite smooth and as far as I can see from the cracks its a hot hone.
Baked clay type.
It needs only little water and comes on a naniwa type holder with rubber feet.

Its a blade muncher of the gentle type!
You can see your razor turning to soup in no time.
But its so fine that I'm sure I'll use it for restores of chipped blades a lot.
Its very precise.
