Default One of my new Japanese hones

This is a japanese hone I got a few weeks ago from HuntMol. It's a really nice one and works like a dream. Cuts well but not to fast and leaves a very nice polish on the blade edge. Just thought I'd share:-)

There's something about untechnology that works just as good if not better than the synthetic that was desighned to replace it.
I like your smiley stone too!

They really are pretty and I'd rather look at one of these while honing than a synthetic:-)

Agreed, I personally prefer natural stones to synthetics. And the smiley stone is actually the dealer's! He places them in pictures of all his stones to give them a sense of scale.
