    Yes, Type #2 does seem a bit similar to a Turkish oil stone - but I'm not sure what a Turkish oil stone is made of exactly so it's difficult for me to say.

    As promised, here are the first of the lapped and boxed stones. These particular stones are currently pending but I will have more lapped and boxed material in the very near future. Some will have a Type 1 slurry stone with them and some won't. Some will be of an irregular geometry, some will be big and some will be small. The ones you see in the picture are representative of the various sizes that are currently being processed. The prices will range from US $80.00 to US $180.00.
