Hi, I don't have my camera with me right now so I will post pictures tomorrow but here are the answers to your questions: no sparkles, the chipped edge shows a vague similiarity to yours and it doesn't smell like oil. The marks on it are a green blue tint and they look similiar to a karasu hone except in green and blue. I finished polishing an O2 violin knife with a huge bevel and the finish is very strange at that size of a bevel it seems like hazy yet I can't discern any scratch marks and it is sharp. The control I used was polishing it with a shapton 16k and while not as shiny I can't find any noticeable difference. The sound it emits is similiar to a very dense brick very high pitched and it gives off a green mint ice cream slurry, it forms a slurry quickly too yet it takes very long to flatten took me like 2 hours to initially get it flat then 2 more to finish the other side to see which side is more suitable for honing. The shave is comfortable pops hair like nothing without touching the skin. if looked from the side the marks can be seen again similiar to a karasu and it is about 1/2 inch thick. I think that should answer any questions but if you can think of another one just PM me will post picks as soon as possible.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Someone, somewhere has to be sitting on a huge pile of those cursed stones, because nearly every single person I've asked has never even heard of it, let alone seen one.

    Regards,
    Alex
