Naniwa 12k
Just had my first hone and shave from the Naniwa 12k.
A very simple progression was used:
Gold Dollar razor
DMT11E bevel set
DMT8EE refinement of edge
Naniwa 12K finish
Chromox strop
Just tried it out for a very nice lunchtime shave at the gym. It felt sweet!
Seemed to hit that nice combo of very sharp along with comfortable.

Did you test shave before the CrO to see what the Nani12k edge was like?
How long do you think that this honing will last and what is your plan for "touch-up/maintenance"?Last edited by matt321; 10-21-2009 at 02:08 AM.
