That stone Hi Bud posted is not an aoto its a amakusa red and the grit is around 800 I have one its intersting soft hard stone. Havent used on razors though because of the inclusions that they have. Good for knives and plane irons.

Ah, could that be an Amakusa? It looks quite different from pictures that I've seen. Olivia had mentioned to me in chat that she also had one and also found it unsuitable for razors.

Aoto is a blue stone. Ao means blue

This is not 1 k level. It is more then 2 k almost 3k. It is worth to buying but size is small.

This stone is worth the money. If i am not mistaken it was 13.00 . i hope they will have a little larger size. it acts 2-3k level and it is a good one. Go head buy this. it is worth it.
