Inexpensive storage case for natural hones
Recently I carelessly chipped a nice coticule, because I wasn't storing it in a box when I wasn't using it. So I started looking for an inexpensive, sturdy, protective case.
I found this one, a Plano Protector Four Pistol Case (the link is to Amazon just to show the picture, I bought mine at a local sporting goods store). Prices range from $15 - $25. I think Wal-Mart has them too.
It's rugged, has plenty of space, and two separate storage layers with egg-crate foam. The foam lacks a bit of firmness when packed with a number of hones, and it's not firm enough for thin and heavy synthetic hones like DMTs. But for the price I won't complain. I'm going to pick up another layer of foam at a hobby store for a dollar or so to tighten it up.
Thought I'd pass this along as hope for the HAD-afflicted.
