I have a few Coticules like that. What I find interesting is that most of the barber hones and many of the natural stones, coticules and Eschers, were made in that size for sale to barbers. I have more than one Escher with the box they came in that were marked Barber's Delight. A pair of Coticules labeled 'Old Rock' and 'Deep Rock' are also that size. I prefer the longer hones but no doubt many barbers went for the 5"x2 or 2 1/2".
