    Default Spyderco UF after Naniwa 12K

    Well I'm going to be ordering some naniwas and am debating the 12K stone.

    I've honed up a few razors with my spydercos and enjoy the edge after the UF and some croox.

    Does anyone have both stones? I'm curious how the edges would compare.

    I've got the shapton 16k, which is reported to be similar. The lapped UF is finer, but its very slow. It seems to work well if you follow the 16k with the UF, the 16k does in 10-15 laps what the UF would take a 100+. I was surprised how quickly I got a keen edge from the 16k. So, IMO, its definitely worth picking up the Naniwa.
