    I use a 120 DMT and 320 wet/dry arroud it for lapping.

As far as the size, 8" is the size of a standard stone. 10" is gonna be a bit too heavy for comfy use, and the 2 extra inches will not increase the performance since the width is the same as the 8" DMT

Oh yes, I totally forgot that. The continuous is 1/4" steel... It's maybe 5+ lbs. I'm quite sure it could break your foot if you dropped it and the corner hit first. The bigger model would be even heavier.

Alright well I went against all advice and got the 10"er. It was 10 bucks more and my dad said he'd pick up the difference lol. For the record, I have lapped a bunch of stuff with sandpaper and I am done with that. Far too much work lol.

I went with the one with holes because there seems to be a lot for and against them in the forum, but not really anything definitively better or worse than continuous. Stiction seemed to be a big pain when I used papers, so I got the one with holes. That was my reasoning. And having the x-coarse and coarse means that I will be using each side less (start on x-coarse, finish on coarse)

    Fingers Crossed!
