Thread: Natural stone hunt

I haven't been able to find another one like it and I can't imagine, when every other shop only sells cheap crappy carbondium hones, where the magical natural hone shop could be.

I'm thinking that hone I saw could be a Japanese hone left over from when Thailand was occupied by Japan during WWII.

Did you try making an offer on that hone? The guy might sell it to you, especially if he can get another one, even if you can't find the place he told you.

I won't make him an offer in the near future. When I couldn't find one like it I bought a hone online from 330mate. From what I understand it's a medium grit stone anyway.
