    Default Glass razor hone

    So I saw one of these glass razor hones on ebay. It was glass flat on top, the bottom was like a half pipe (or a pipe cut in half lenghtwise.) Anyone know about these? Used them? How do they work?

    if i am not mistaken you are talking about safety razor sharpener . we have a great post and someone explained whole history of class hone. please check archive you will find .

    I have to say that I have seen recently one which was one side por safety blades and the other for straights.
