    Default Charnley forest find

Picked one up today, quite a small one but it still had the stamp on the back, though all I can make out from it is 'CHARNLEY FOREST OILSTONE'.

I will get some pics later, if any one is interested. I don't know whether to keep this one or my first one. This one is a more olive green, my first one is a more grey-green.

    Wow! Great find!

Any pics? What grit are the Charnleys? Apparently they make killer finishers..!

High, very high. They do indeed make killer finishers, they take all the harshness out of an edge, it's quite amazing. I've been told they rival just about anything else.

Size wise, it's aprox 1 2/3" by just over 8". So not that small, in fact it's about the same size as my other one, just looks smaller because of the box I think.

The pictures aren't great, but you can just about make out 'CHARNLEY FOREST OIL STONE'

Bought it in person. I was quite chuffed when I spotted the stamp.
