    This is my latest japanse hone i would appreciate if somone translate what it says. i made very close pictures. thank you and have fun guys.

    I bought it from bay. i red line is in the stone.how deep is it i have no idea. black all other stone has been done to protect the stone from water.thank you guys

    Sham, Congrats, that's a gorgeous stone! That's the old fashioned cursive...hard to read.

    Top right, going down is "Sho honzan awasedo", True mountain finishing stone.

    Bottem left, going down I can only make out the last character: 質, shitsu (or moto or many other readins) which means something like "substance, quality..." but it'll be different based on the other characters.

    I'm sure someone else will be along to help more.
