Just a curiosity, over on SRD the Naniwa super set is $20 more than the eight stones individually added together. Am I missing something?

Haven't done the maths but perhaps it's the shipping where you'd save.

I went back and counted three times, all eight stones individually are less. If you bought all together in one shopping cart wouldn't they all ship at the same time anyway?

Shave ready razor + coticule would be my answer.
If you look after your shave ready razor a finishing hone is the only thing you really need. All the other hones you only need when buying second hand razors that your want to put a decent edge on.
