Default ID for this one please?

Does anybody here has a information about this stone. I bought it as I love those colours. It is probably man made, medium grit and I am not sure if the Browning box supposed to be with it as it is a bit smaller than the hole in the box. Don't be shy chip in.

Well...they are not all the same. Have you used it yet? What were the results if so? Does it look to be natural or to pieces glued together?

Pieces are glued together and I am waiting for better weather that I can work outside and lap it. The white side is a bit dished. However just from the feel I would not give it higher grit than4000.

FWIW, that doesn't look anything like a BBW/Coti to me.

I'm betting it is a Wash!ta glued to a soft Arkansas .... or a hard Arkie. Nice setup if that is what it is.

What Jimmy said, but the back looks like granite to me. Mayby to give the stone support.

I don't think it's a BBW/coticule either. If so, strange BBW. Not sure what they are though. Good luck. If you don't get an answer in a few days try a knife forum or search knife shops on line.

+1 JimmyHAD. That is a beautiful, Washita/hard white arkansas combination hone, imo. Likely vintage and a Great find for anyones collection. Congrats!
