    Thanks

Is there any way one type is better than the other? I heard the shaptons dont release grit that is bigger than the grit size? Do naniwas do that?

Naniwa or Shapton - again, it doesn't matter so long as you take the time to learn how to use what you get. If the only difference to you is the price, and if the price is a factor, then you have only one factor to weigh and the scales say Naniwa. If you have other preferences that factor in, you need to weigh those as well. Ultimately, only you can decide. Just rest easy knowing there is no bad decision.

As holli4 said you cannot go wrong with either choice. I happen to prefer Naniwas to Shaptons for the overall feel of the honing process. Because I like the feel better I work well with them hence my results are better. OTOH, a friend of mine likes the feel of the Shaptons better and he thinks he gets better results with them than he does with the Naniwas .... and he probably does. If you like the way a hone works and use it more you'll get better with it. So get either set and use them and it will be fine.

Of course you mean Naniwa as Norton doesn't make a 12k .... here is where I got my 20mm superstones . From Germany.

Firstly thanks for correct my word .. yes i mean naniwa 12K As you know norton not have 12k yet..
in the other hand why im wanting link for store because fine-tools not sale to my country (Turkey) i dont know why.. i googled and find many seller but all of them 10 mm thinner one..when i started to search my mind really mixed.. some of naniwa 12 k are pink color (10mm) other 20mm are white color and there are some words on these stones ebi lobster and shrimp i dont know what i need exactly also they say reasin method or magnesia method..i checked that superstones are resin method and choceras are made by magnesia method..
which one is more comfortable for straight razor plishing i dont know .. so its pricey i dont want to make wrong..
i see one seller ebay he has private brand magnesia including japanese waterstone.. it is cheaper than the others and its properties like chosera..
    anyone try it ?
    Regards.
