    Default Drilling holes

Most of my hones did not come with a box so I made wood boxes for them. I made the boxes tight so the stone would not easily fall out when handeling but have noticed that after honing sometimes they get stuck from being wet, and won't come out. Some are two sided and need to be fliped over.
To remedy this I took out the stones and drilled a one inch hole in the bottom on one end of each box using a spade bit. Now if the stone gets stuck I can push it out easily with one finger from the bottom.

I think I'd just make looser boxes... but maybe I'm weird

One fell out of a box once and luckily didn't break. I learned my lesson. Hones are expensive.
