Frictionite hones
Since they are no longer made and with little or no reference material on grit. Would the #24 be the equal of the 00 hone?
Kind regards,Last edited by Soopercat; 02-25-2010 at 10:56 PM.

I don't know if it is the 00, but we don't do price appraisals here.

hi_bud_gl might be able to tell you. He has a lot of experience with various barber hones. Here is a thread where you might find some info .... it is 3 pages so I'm not sure if the #24 is mentioned. I know from my own experience that the 00 is a good barber hone.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I've combed that thread with a fine tooth comb last night with only scant mention of the #24. I will pm him in the hope he can help.
Kind regards,

I like the 00 better. I've tried over 120 different barber hones now and the Frictionite 00 is one of my top 2 or 3 barber hones.
