    i can answer to early part.
    they are very very fast cutting stones. very hard stone and PITA to lap them. they will leave approximately 6-8k level edge.

    They work well as barbers hones in my opinion.

    Great info thanks!
    I´ve just bought a Aloxite hone and if its 6-8k it will be the missing stone.
    Before i bought it i had only 1-3k combo and 12k so i guess i was lucky.
