Thread: Found a Hone Today

Hello guys. I was just wondering what I've got here. Found it at a flea market. I'm assuming it's an oil stone as it was covered with the stuff. It's smooth but not as smooth as a barbers hone. Any way to tell what grit it might be or if it would be any good for honing razors? Thanks for any help.

I probably should have taken picture of both sides. I think I may have taken pictures of the bottom but I'm not really sure.
