DMT RECYCLING
DMT RECYCLING Does any one knows about this?
i have couple i can give back to them and they can used it again. i just don't feel like to throw it away.?
any ideas? has anyone done before?

Mine are useless too. It'd be great if you could get them re-finished.
As it is I use them occasionally as a flat surface for lapping with paper. That's my version of recycling!

me too. a big Translucent Arkansas killed one of my DMT's.

You could call Dia Sharp on the phone and ask. My guess is that it wouldn't be cost effective for them to do it.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

It does seem like a shame. It's a BIG lump of nickel-alloy... if nothing else, might a scrap yard take it?

I got it! Was going to make a hone box to store all my hones. The lid would act as a base for the hones with simple blocks on both sides of top.
The DMT could fit right in there and can fold sandpaper, its weight and pressure of using it would lock sandpaper even tighter.
