I am sorry i don't know who send those to me.
I know it is overseas and include what in picture. i do remember i told some SRP member i will test the stone and ship to Bill Watkins for giveaway.
i have tested the stones and there 3 more razors(which i wasn't expecting).
i like to know your name and get credit for SRP GIVEAWAY AND please let me know what should i do with your razors?

This is the about stones.
They do have marks on the side says 5 and 8.
Each stone has very strong cutting ability. 5 one will cut fast and edge will be approximately 4k level. very light stone and very useful. (bevel get very fine scratches)
8 one is a little finer .Edge compare to Norton 8 k is dull but this stone cuts faster. edge usually comes out with 7 k level.
again very fine bevel scratches.
I would like to know who made that stones.

those are the 5k and 8k Taidea hones that open_razor sells

if the blades gets a satisfactory edge you could send them too if you wish

So would you say this would be an option for starting cheap?
maybe with a cheap finisher

would it be good value if combined with the C12k?

Yes i agree that will be very nice cheap option.
They already have been send. i was confused a little about the razor but now everything ok.

Looks like a nice little starter set and something I will definitely keep in mind when I need to start buying hones myself.
