Default Bickett Razor Hone No. 6C

This is another hone I recently picked up and have not had much luck finding information on the forum.

    It is 2 1/2 by 3 7/8 inches.

Manufactured by Bickett Rubber Products Corporation
    Watertown, Wisconsin, USA

it is a man made barber hone. The hone I picke dup is new in box and shows a price of $1.50. All identification on hone is on back. It is interesting that the text on back has a double strike (for lack of better terminology) on the ETT in the name.

I will get pictures up soon.

Sounds neat. This quick "Google" (Leroy McVey Bickett) shows that they also made rubber-bonded abrasive grinding wheels. Does the razor hone look rubber-bonded, too?

WARNING: the link has a somewhat "racy" picture on the page (Swamsauger Lake). Well... racy for 1941; maybe...

    Sticky,

It is very much a barber hone. The link you posted was the only one I came up with also.

I will get some pictures up sometime today for those who like to live vicariously.

    Thumbs up

I have a Beckett barbers hone made by"National Products Company" Eau Clare Wis. It is 3 7/8" X 2.5".
Mine seems to be a little darker than Scrapman's hone. I just refound my hone while moving my shop out to the garage. Let's just say I had a messy work area! LOL
I have found the Beckett hone to work well& would rank it up with my better Barber hones.
