    Default New Thuringians?

Ok I did a little searching of the forum couldn't seem to find it but I'd imagine this has been discussed before....

Has anyone tried some of the "new thuringian" hones? Like those described at the site below? (not the escher but thuringian water hone there)

They do not have good reputation, sure you can luck out and get a good one, but for the money it's not worth the gamble IMO.
right now in the classifieds there is a small escher that might be much better and cheaper option.

I have one, it sucks, stick with old thuringians. These aren't even close in fineness.
