Thread: Ho-Ho Hones

I was over at the relations house for the Holiday Weekend and went out to the pasture and I noticed Mephistopheles striking his hooves on the ground so I asked him what he was doing. he said he was sharpening his hooves what with all the talk of Mountain Lions around and he wanted to be ready to slash any lion that bothers him. I said what are you using. he said he found a few stones he uses as hones around the ranch. I said now just wait a minute what do you animals know about hones after-all your a horse. Why he was taken aback and said alot of us animals are very discerning and know a good honing stone from a bad. Sometimes the other animals come here to sharpen their hooves and the birds use them to sharpen their beaks and the General used to do his horns. He said you dumb humans go out and buy these things when they can be found all around. So when he wasn't looking I came back and stole them and ya know what? He's right. Why those stones sharpened up my razors so fast and so keen I got rid of my Coticules and Eschers and Japaneese Stones and nortons and pastes. I just threw them all out the window. Wow who ever knew. Check out your back yard for treasures or better yet ask the animals they'll cue you in.

The General here - got hoofs and tail and horns and if you don't surrender back what you stole you'll taste that pitchfork of mine, it's still sharp from the last honing!
