Seriously, (to the OP) try a honemeister edge first, become proficient at shaving with a straight, then venture into the world of hone touch-ups before taking a leap into full fledged honing.

Thanks guys, I'm sending it out Friday to get sharpened. I'll start looking for a 4k/8k Norton here soon to experiment on other blades.
