So I am looking at adding something to lap my stones plus something in the 1200grit range to add to my collection (have a 5k, 8k and a 12k Chinese). Anyway, I was thinking of going with a DMT for both. I was looking on ebay to see if I could snag a deal when I came across a DMT Duo-Sharp that has BOTH. It's not the standard course/extra course one but one that actually has the course (325) and extra fine (1200 grit) combination.

My question is, has anyone come across one of these and if so, how does using the mesh/interrupted surface 1200 grit side work for setting bevels? Would it be better to just buy each separately to use a solid surface? Thanks.
