    Why? What is your basis for this? It can be lapped with a diamond plate but it does not have to be.

    the Seller said the Chinese hone was pre lapped already...

    Did you lap the 5k and 8k? I think that may be part of the problem.

    YES I DID!! i use340 W?D grit. Then 600. did the whole grid thing twice like on the wiki. made sure i didn't cross-contamenate the grits and hones.. used a complete flat surface...
    i think it hasn't been beveled yet.... I still can shave with it though, with some pressure.. did tonight... uber lather this time.. bit smoother. .way closer then my 3 blade mach still!
