Thread: Where to buy hones in europe

I would like to buy a Spyderco Fine bench stone, but I can't find a shop who ships them to europe for a reasonable price. Any ideas where can I find them on the cheap? The best offer I could find was 40$ for the stone, and 30$ for shipping... Thats way too much.

Alternatively a used Spyderco fine, or a DMT8EE would be also good, but i can't post in the WTB thread in the classifieds

I already have a Chinese 12k, and borrowed a BBW for a small time, but I have to give it back soon. So I need something 8k in that price range, and the Spyderco was the most appeling to me. The Naniwas are a bit expensive for me.

You could also buy a Dragon's Tongue or a BBW.

There is a shop that does ship EU wide, I think.
It is placed in the netherlands, so you won´t have to pay taxes, b/c it is part of the EU.
They carry Naniwa Super, Chosera and Spyderco for competitive prices.

even though these are known vendors in germany, they don´t carry the spyderco hones.
If you are looking for other options I have bought a lot from these germans: feinewerkezuege.de, dick.biz and rasurpur.de

Very friendly, very nice stones at quite competitive prices (compared to others in Eu, I guess)
You should have a look at the Naniwas from feinewerkzeuge.
The Superstone 8k is simply one of the best polishing stones that exist.
