    Excellent advice guys. That's why you are the pros!! I took you're advice and took a few more shots outside. The first ones are of the dry hone, next are the slurry ones, and last after I washed off the slurry I took a few more of the wet stone.

    Agreed, totally a BBW. Even the surface pattern dry looks like a BBW, but the slurry is a dead giveaway in those pics.

    If you look at it under a hand held mircroscope, mine is only 30X, you will instantly see the red/brown garnets in a BBW.
