4" wide oil stone, how to hone?
Hi,
I have a 4" wide oil stone temporarily. And it is very smooth.(seems +6k I am not sure) Do I need to make circular/x pattern motion or should I make as flat as possible strokes while honing razors with no chips? Thanks.

What's going on on the honing floor?
I love this oilstone but I can't hone straight anymore
