    Default Star Brand

    Can anyone tell me anything about this hone. I just picked it up at an Antiques Fair for $40. It measures 150mm x 30mm aprox 6" x 1 1/4", and is about 17mm thick. Needs a good lapping but looks in good condition. It seems to be glued in the box. Is that normal? wont the box deteriorate from water being used in honing.
    I also saw a Carborumdum 101 6"x2" hone but that was $85 and seemed a bit pricey to me.
