Default Ever Seen On Of These

I was perusing the 'bay. I never actually buy anything from there, but when I have insomnia it's fun to window shop.

I came across this glass barbers hone. I've never seen anything like this. Is the seller right about what it was used for?

It was advertised for the use of DE blades. The sales pitch was align the blade without removing steel.

I've seen those a couple of times. I'd heard the same thing as Travis: They are meant for DE blades.

Has anyone ever used one of these and know how well they work?

Every time I see one I think it looks like some sort of horrible medical tool or something you'd see on the top shelf of a certain type of store..!

I saw them talked about on another forum just last week. A couple members have them and say they are the biggest ripoff of that time. There is no way they could strop a de blade effectively. The blade doesn't line up right in them for them to work. Thats the intel I got from the thread.

Ah, for DE blades. Makes more sense, even if it didn't work.
