    Default Hones on sale

    Thought I'de share this, although I'm sure a bunch of you have already found this site, they have a bunch of hones on sale.

    I moved this one to the Hones forum.

    Its a good site that one, a couple of guys have bought Japanese stones from here. If you are buying naturals from a knife store, bear in mind that they could be of lower grit than used for razors, so be sure to ask the sellers the right questions before parting with your moolah!

    I could be mistaken, but I think everything is always on sale there. The only ones I've ever really looked at in the past are the Choseras (because I want them but haven't pulled the trigger yet), and those have always been on sale at the same prices they are now.

    Yes always on sale, and anything above $60 is free shipping.

    I have two naturals from Mark, they are both great, of course I was given the option to try and return them if they were not up to my liking.

    i just checked 2 prices compare to SRD . they were shapton 1k and Naniwa 1k they were less on SRD THEN THAT place?

    I was really happy with the Ozuku Asagi (Koppa). Great little hone in my opinion.

    The thick baseless ones are 2 cm. Those are on chef's.
