    Default DMT Base

    Does anyone know if the DMT base will fit the Shapton on Glass stones?

    In the description it reads "Must-have accessory for DuoSharp bench stones or any 6-by-2-inch bench stone"

    The seller is not being of much help and will only say that it was designed for DMT hones.

    I am curious if anyone has one of these and if it will fit 8X3 hones.

    yes it will, it should be able to take up to 8.5" long stones and the shaptons are listed as 8.3 " long
