    Default Carborundum good?

    Hello new to this whole thing. I have an old 2 sided carborndum of my Grandpa's but no number. I was wondering If it would work to keep a razor sharp?

    It depends entirely on which Carborundum it is. Some are for razors and some are not. If you are certain there is no number imprinted on one of the long sides, then the only way I can help is if you provide a photo and the dimensions. I'll compare it to mine and I'll let you know which one it is.
