stone indentification
well i know its not an ark or c-12k i think it a thuringian( stone in the box) it looks new and the lines in the stone are not water marks the stone feels super smooth and really hard the first pic is of the stone in question the second pic is the stone next to a thuringian and the third is next to two c-12k stones so gents what do you think?

Whats the size? I don't know enough to identify stones by looks, but it has the proportions of a 1 x 5 thuringian, which were pretty common, I think. The box also looks like the boxes those stones came in...

What color is the slurry and does it smell like chalk? I find my thuri slurry to smell like chalk.
I don't really consider them too hard though as they are quite easy to lap.
The hinged peen box though is common with thuri's. What are the dimensions as that may help as well

It sure looks like an Arkansas to me...

From the color and inclusions, I would say it is probably an Arkansas. Rub it with a DMT card or sandpaper: if no creamy slurry it is an Arkansas.
