Thanked: 50I didn't had time yesterday to post this, so I'm doing it today.
First things first: The darker slate gives off a purple slurry. So I assume it's a BBW(I also see speckles in it after flattening).
I flattened it on a piece of 400 grit wet sandpaper. That was really easy. A nice slurry formed and flattened it nicely. After sanding the edges and(after cleaning off the slurry from the sandpaper) flattening the bbw site it doesn't look (ab)used anymore.
One chip was on the edge(not on a corner) but sloping it's corners proved no problem.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
