The Great 8" Swaty?
Hi,
Does anyone have more information on the 7-7/8"x2" Franz Swaty. See attached. It is almost 3 longer than the typical 5"x2" Swaty. I was curious about age. There is a sticker on the site that says Pike Sole American Agent. It is also a 2 line vs 3 line or 4 line.

I've got a couple of them. One like the long one pictured and another vintage NIB that has a different stamping with the same basic info and instructions. I like them for a barber hone better than their shorter cousins. I don't know what to tell you about their history. Here is an old thread that will shed some light and another here.

I had one of the 8 inch ones with two lines of text. To me, it seemed about the same as the normal one I had with 2 lines of text.

Hi,
I was just curious. It does have the same feel to it. The box sames something about razor and churgical instrument. Maybe big churgical instrument?
