    Default more natural stones

    first stone iyoto second amakusa red third blue aoto forth nakayama fifth two c-12 sixth two coti seventh thuringian and the rest is japanese stones i forgot their names and the last hone is my mystery hone it not a c-12 much finer i'm thinking maybe a thuringian

    Nice eleblu05.. Is the Amakusa a bevel setter around 1500K? Have you had a chance to use it?

    no i havent used it yet but when i bought it they said it was around 600 grit

    I would like to try that amakusa, I have been looking for a natural bevel setter. A good collection of stones!

    yeah she is big 9in long 2 3/4 wide and 2 1/2 high maybe tomorrow i'll pull out the synthetic's

    i got mine (amakusa) from bladegallery.com it run's any where from 15 to 28 $ thats the red amakuse they have a white amakuse thats 1000 grit about 43 $

    amakusa causes micro chipping, too rough for razors.
    I have the white one which I think is finer than the Red variety.
