It is not mine yet. Auctions ends on sunday. What side would be a Thuringian ? There's not much left on darker side.

Update
Finally this hone arrived yesterday. After lapping it look slightly different. The stone was just dirty. This is how its look like.

Definitely a Thuringian. Possibly an Escher but you'll never know. It could well be in my view the ultimate finisher. Try it out after an 8k. Im sure you'll be impressed.

Actually its not a patience. I must rescale and polish nice 5/8 wedge W&B first. Then i'll try that hone on that razor.

I know, but unless that was my only razor, I'd just use one of my daily shavers on it. Im a rock hound

Nice Thuringian! My latest Yellowgreen Escher also has a thin darker layer. They put the label over the dark side.
