    Default Hone stone

    I bought one of those Chinese water stone from Guangxi province of China 12,000 grit.

    I can't believe how sharp my razor is now. It only took about 40 strokes on each side and a short session of stropping. It was just what I needed to finish my razor to a nice fine cutting machine.

    No pulling and it was the most comfortable, close, fast shave I've had yet with a straight razor. I'm sold on honing stones & straight razors. I doubt I could ever go back to the future.....
