    I have found even blue and yellow Turkey stones, but the green one I couldn't come across so far (it is mentioned in mining records though).

    yes i do plan on keeping one of my stones, i will be selling the boxed one and keeping the unboxed one

    I am still lapping the charnley flat, it wasnt too bad when it arrived yesterday but i want it to be perfectly flat and there is still a small indent in it which wont affect honing but i would like a fully flat surface before i use it.

    like the turkey stones, it is taking a VERY VERY long time to lap and im using 100 grit wet and dry at the minute. a very slow process indeed!

    Hmm. How do I know that? Perhaps because my ones are waiting for tommorrow flattening and lapping and I am not too much looking forward to it.
